There are seventy kinds.

1.90.1 白礬 방제

백반(백반)

Alumen

1 小兒臍瘡, 及臍中汁出不止, 枯白礬末糝之.

소아의 배꼽이 헐거나 배꼽에서 진물이 계속 나올 때는 백반(구운 것) 가루를 뿌린다.

Spread powder of Alumen (白礬) (roasted one) on the navel when pus comes out.

2 初生兒, 有皮膜如石榴膜, 裹舌, 可以指爪刺破, 令血出, 以枯白礬末敷之. 若不摘去兒必瘂. 《本草》

신생아에게 석류의 막 같은 피막이 혀를 감싸고 있을 때는 손톱으로 막을 찢어서 피를 나오게 한 뒤에 백반(구운 것) 가루를 발라 준다. 만약 없애지 않으면 아이가 벙어리가 된다. 《본초》

When a thin cover, which resembles the cover of inside of pomegranate, is around the tongue of a new born baby, remove the cover with a nail and let the blood come out. Spread Alumen (白礬) (roasted one) on it. If the cover is not removed, the child will become a speech-impaired person. 《本草》

1.90.2 伏龍肝 방제

복룡간(오랜 솥 밑의 누런 흙)

Terba Flava Usta

1 治小兒赤遊丹毒, 行於身上下, 至心卽死. 取爲細末, 芭蕉汁, 或雞子白, 或井水調塗. 《本草》

소아의 적유풍, 즉 단독을 치료한다. 이것이 몸의 위아래로 옮겨 다니다가 심장으로 가면 죽는다. 복룡간을 곱게 가루내어 파초즙이나 계란 흰자, 혹은 우물물에 타서 발라 준다. 《본초》

It treats erysipelas and wandering erysipelas. It moves up and down around the body. When it reaches the heart, the child will die. Grind Terba Flava Usta (伏龍肝) finely and mix this with the juice of Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (巴椒), white yolk of egg, or well water, and then apply it. 《本草》

1.90.3 胡粉 방제

호분(연분)

Hydrocerussitum

1 小兒卒患肚皮靑黑, 不急治卽死. 酒和胡粉塗腹上, 乾則再塗, 又用灸法. 《資生》

소아의 뱃가죽이 갑자기 청흑색이 되었을 때는 빨리 치료하지 않으면 죽는다. 술과 호분을 섞어 배 위에 발라 주고, 마르면 다시 발라 준다. 또, 뜸을 뜨기도 한다. 《자생》

When the skin of the abdomen of the child suddenly becomes bluish black, the child will die if it is not urgently treated. Mix alcohol with Hydrocerussitum (胡粉) and apply this on the abdomen. When it dries, apply it again. Moxibustion is also used. 《資生》

1.90.4 臘雪水 방제

납설수(섣달 납일에 온 눈 녹은 물)

Aqua Soluta ex Nivis

1 治小兒熱癎狂啼. 小溫飮之.

소아가 열간(熱癎)으로 미친 듯이 우는 것을 치료한다. 약간 데워서 마신다.

It treats a child crying like a crazy person due to heat epilepsy. Warm it and then drink it.

2 赤遊丹毒, 取水塗之. 《本草》

적유풍, 즉 단독에는 납설수를 발라 준다. 《본초》

Apply it on the skin if the child suffers wandering erysipelas or erysipleas. 《本草》

1.90.5 焰硝 방제

염초(염초, Niter, KNO₃)

Niter

1 治小兒火丹毒. 取硝納湯中, 雞羽頻頻塗上. 《本草》

소아의 화로 인한 단독을 치료한다. 염초를 끓인 물에 넣고, 닭 깃으로 자주 발라 준다. 《본초》

It treats child's erysipelas due to fire. Boil Niter (焰硝) with water and apply it on the skin frequently with the feather of a chicken. 《本草》

1.90.6 地龍汁 방제

지룡즙(지렁이 즙)

Juice of Lumbricus

1 治小兒熱病癲癎. 取少許飮之. 《本草》

소아의 열병으로 인한 전간(癲癎)을 치료한다. 약간을 마시게 한다. 《본초》

It treats child's epilepsy due to heat disease. Make the patient drink a little. 《本草》

1.90.7 藍葉汁 방제

남엽즙(쪽 잎의 즙)

Juice of Polygoni Tinctori Folium

1 殺疳蟲, 治小兒壯熱疳. 取飮之. 亦治丹毒入內. 《本草》

감충(疳蟲)을 죽이고, 소아의 열이 많이 나는 감병을 치료한다. 남엽즙을 마시게 한다. 단독이 속으로 들어간 것도 치료한다. 《본초》

It kills worms and treats malnutrition with excessive heat. Make the patient drink the juice of Polygoni Tinctori Folium (藍葉). It also treats erysipelas inside the body. 《本草》

1.90.8 黃連 방제

황련(황련의 뿌리)

Coptidis Rhizoma

1 殺疳蟲. 猪肚蒸搗, 爲丸服.

감충을 죽인다. 돼지 밥통과 함께 찐 후에 짓찧어 환을 만들어 먹인다.

It kills worms. Steam this with the stomach of a pig and then pound these to make pills. Make the patient take these pills.

2 亦治鼻疳, 鼻下作瘡. 取爲末, 付日三. 《本草》

비감(鼻疳)과 코밑이 헌 것도 치료한다. 황련을 가루내어 하루에 3번씩 바른다. 《본초》

It treats nasal sores. Grind Coptidis Rhizoma (黃連) and apply it three times a day. 《本草》

1.90.9 蒲黃 방제

포황(부들의 꽃가루)

Typhae Pollen

1 治小兒虛熱. 蜜和作果食之, 甚益小兒. 《本草》

소아의 허열을 치료한다. 꿀과 섞어 동그랗게 만들어 먹으면 소아에게 아주 좋다. 《본초》

It treats the deficient heat of a child. Mix this with honey and make circular forms. It is very good for children. 《本草》

1.90.10 酸漿 방제

산장(꽈리의 뿌리)

Physalis Alkekengi Herba

1 小兒食之, 能除熱有益. 《本草》

소아가 먹으면 열을 내리고, 몸에도 좋다. 《본초》

It brings down the heat of a child. It is also good for health. 《本草》

1.90.11 王瓜 방제

왕과(쥐참외)

Trichosanthis Cucumeroidis Fructus

1 封臍, 治小兒痢疾良方. 王瓜藤, 經霜曬乾, 燒存性爲末, 香油調納臍中, 立效. 《醫鑑》

배꼽에 채워 놓으면 소아의 이질을 잘 치료한다. 서리맞은 왕과등(王瓜藤)을 볕에 말려 약성이 남게 태운 뒤 가루내고, 참기름에 개어 배꼽 속을 채워 주면 효과가 있다. 《의감》

It treats a child's dysentery when it is stuffed on the navel. Dry a stem of Trichosanthis Cucumeroidis Fructus (王瓜) that is damaged by cold under the sun. Burn it until its medicinal effect remains. Mix it with sesame oil and fill it in the navel. 《醫鑑》

1.90.12 使君子 방제

사군자(사군자의 열매)

Quisqualis Fructus

1 殺小兒疳蟲, 及蛔蟲ㆍ寸白. 取中仁食之, 蟲卽下. 《本草》

소아의 감충ㆍ회충ㆍ촌백충을 죽인다. 사군자 속의 씨앗을 먹으면 벌레가 나온다. 《본초》

It kills worms. Worms will come out if the seeds of Quisqualis Fructus (使君子) are taken. 《本草》

1.90.13 天南星 방제

천남성(천남성의 뿌리)

Arisaematis Rhizoma

1 治驚風聲瘂不能言, 及諸病後不能言. 南星一箇, 去皮臍泡, 爲末. 三歲兒半錢或一字. 以猪膽汁調下, 卽能言, 神效. 《醫鑑》

경풍으로 목소리가 나오지 않거나 말을 하지 못하는 것과 여러 가지 병을 앓은 뒤 말을 하지 못하는 것을 치료한다. 남성 1개의 껍질을 벗기고 배꼽을 버린 뒤 거품이 나도록 씻어서 가루 낸다. 3세의 아이에게는 0.5돈이나 2.5푼을 먹인다. 이것을 저담즙에 타 먹이면 말을 하게 된다. 신효하다. 《의감》

It treats the loss of voice, impaired speech due to infantile convulsions, or impaired speech due to various diseases. Remove the cover of Arisaematis Rhizoma (南星) and remove the center. Wash it until bubbles come out and then grind it. For a three-year-old child, make the child take a half don or two and a half pun. Mix it with pig's bile acid and make the child drink it. This is very effective. 《醫鑑》

1.90.14 萹蓄 방제

편축(마디풀의 전초)

Polygoni Avicularis Herba

1 治小兒蛔蟲痛. 煮汁令濃飮之, 蟲卽下. 取汁煮粥服, 亦佳. 《本草》

소아가 회충으로 아픈 것을 치료한다. 진하게 달인 물을 마시면 회충이 나온다. 달인 물로 죽을 쑤어 먹여도 좋다. 《본초》

It treats pain due to worms. Worms will come out if the child takes water that has been thickly boiled with it. It is also good to make soup with water boiled with it and then make the child take it. 《本草》

1.90.15 苧根 방제

저근(모시풀의 뿌리)

Boehmeriae Radix

1 治小兒惡毒瘡, 五色無常. 苧根煮湯浴, 日三四. 《本草》

소아의 악독창(惡毒瘡)으로 여러 가지 색이 나타나는 것을 치료한다. 저근 달인 물로 하루에 3-4번 목욕시킨다. 《본초》

It treats expression of various colors due to bad toxic sores. Take bathes three or four times a day with water boiled with Boehmeriae Radix (苧根). 《本草》

1.90.16 五加皮 방제

오가피(오갈피나무의 뿌리나 줄기의 껍질)

Acanthopanacis Cortex

1 治小兒三歲不能行. 取皮細末, 每取一錢, 粥飮調, 次入好酒少許服, 日三, 便行走. 《本草》

소아가 3살이 되어도 걷지 못하는 것을 치료한다. 오가피를 곱게 가루내어 매번 1돈씩 미음에 넣은 후, 좋은 술 약간을 넣어 하루에 3번씩 먹이면 곧 걷게 된다. 《본초》

It treats the child who cannot walk even three years after birth. Grind Acanthopanacis Cortex (五加皮) finely and then put one don of it into gruel. Add a little amount of good alcohol and make the child take it three times a day. The child will walk soon. 《本草》

1.90.17 竹葉 방제

죽엽(대나무의 잎)

Phyllostachys Folium

1 治小兒驚熱. 煎湯飮之.

소아가 놀라고 열이 나는 것을 치료한다. 달인 물을 마시게 한다.

It treats convulsions and heat of children. Make the child take water boiled with it.

2 竹瀝尤好, 溫服一二合. 《本草》

죽력은 더욱 좋다. 1-2홉을 데워 마시게 한다. 《본초》

Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen (竹瀝) is even better. Warm one to two hops of it and then make the child drink it. 《本草》

1.90.18 柳絮 방제

유서(버들개지)

Salicis Babylonicae Semen

1 多積, 可作氈, 極柔軟. 宜與小兒臥, 極佳, 以其性涼故也. 《本草》

많이 모으면 양탄자를 만들 수 있다. 매우 부드러워 소아를 눕히면 좋으니 성질이 차갑기 때문이다. 《본초》

A carpet can be made with it. It is very soft. It is good to let the child lie on this carpet because the child's characteristic is cold. 《本草》

1.90.19 龜尿 방제

구뇨(거북이의 소변)

Testudinis Urina

1 治小兒龜背. 取尿摩背上, 卽差. 《本草》

소아의 구배(龜背)를 치료한다. 거북이의 소변을 등에 문질러 주면 낫는다. 《본초》

It treats turtle back of a child. Apply the urine of a turtle on the back of the child. It will be cured. 《本草》

1.90.20 鯽魚 방제

즉어(붕어)

Carassius auratus

1 小兒腦疳, 鼻痒, 毛髮作穗, 面黃羸瘦, 取膽, 滴入鼻中, 三五日差.

소아가 뇌감(腦疳)으로 코가 간지럽고 머리카락이 뭉치며, 얼굴이 누렇게 되고 마르는 데는 붕어의 쓸개즙을 콧속에 떨어뜨리면 3-5일만에 낫는다.

When there are symptoms like itching nose, tangling of hair, yellowish and dry face due to boiling of the head of the malnourished infant, drop gall bladder juice of a carp in the nostrils. It will be treated in three to five days.

2 頭瘡, 口瘡, 取頭燒灰爲末, 塗之. 《本草》

머리나 입이 허는 데는 붕어의 머리를 태워 나온 재를 가루내어 바른다. 《본초》

When there is a sore in the mouth or head, burn the head of a carp, and then grind and paste the ash.

1.90.21 露蜂房 방제

노봉방(말벌 집)

Vespae Nidus

1 治小兒赤白痢. 燒爲末和飮服.

소아의 적백리를 치료한다. 노봉방 태운 가루를 미음에 타서 마시게 한다.

It treats children's red and white dysentery. Burn Vespae Nidus (露蜂房). Mix the ash with gruel and then make the child take it.

2 大小便不通, 蜂房燒爲末, 酒和服一錢, 日二. 《本草》

대소변이 나오지 않는 데는 노봉방 태운 가루를 술에 1돈씩 타서 하루에 2번 먹인다. 《본초》

When urine and feces do not come out, mix one don of ash of Vespae Nidus (露蜂房) with alcohol and make the child take it twice a day. 《本草》

1.90.22 鱉 방제

별(자라)

Amydae Caro

1 小兒骨蒸勞瘦. 取肉作臛食之.

소아의 골증으로 피곤하고 마르는 데는 자라 고기로 국을 끓여 먹인다.

When the child becomes tired and slim, make soup with dry terrapin flesh and let the child take it.

2 小兒脫肛, 鱉頭燒爲灰, 付之. 《本草》

소아의 탈항에는 자라의 머리를 태운 재를 바른다. 《본초》

For prolapse of the rectum of the child, attach ash of a terrapin on the head. 《本草》

1.90.23 蟹 방제

해(게)

Eriocheir Sinensis

1 小兒解顱不合, 取蟹螯, 幷白芨末, 爛搗貼顖上, 顱卽合. 《本草》

소아의 신문이 닫히지 않을 때는 게의 집게발과 백급 가루를 짓찧어 신문 위에 붙이면 신문이 닫힌다. 《본초》

When the child's fontanelle is not closed, pound the claws of crab and powder of Bletillae Rhizoma (白芨). Attach it on the fontanelle. The fontanelle will be closed. 《本草》

1.90.24 蟬殼 방제

선각(매미 허물)

Cicadae Periostracum

1 主小兒驚癎, 夜啼身熱. 爲末, 和飮服.

소아의 경간(驚癎)으로 밤에 울고 열이 나는 데 주로 쓴다. 가루내어 미음에 타 먹인다.

Mostly used for a fever and crying in the night due to epilepsy in children. Grind it, mix it with gruel, and then make the child take it.

2 取殼水煎服, 出痘疹甚快. 《本草》

선퇴를 물에 달여 먹이면 두진이 빨리 나온다. 《본초》

Boil Cicadidae Periostracum (蟬退) with water. It will remove smallpox quickly. 《本草》

1.90.25 蠐螬 방제

제조(굼벵이)

Holotrichia

1 丹走皮中浸淫, 取蠐螬汁塗之, 良. 《本草》

단독이 피부로 번져 나갈 때는 굼벵이 즙을 바르면 좋다. 《본초》

When erysipelas spread through the skin, it is good to paste the juice of Holotrichia (蠐螬). 《本草》

1.90.26 烏賊魚骨 방제

오적어골(갑오징어뼈)

Sepiae Os

1 治小兒痢. 爲末, 以米飮調下. 《本草》

소아의 이질을 치료한다. 가루내어 미음에 타 먹인다. 《본초》

It treats dysentery children. Grind it, mix it with gruel, and then make the child take it. 《本草》

1.90.27 白殭蚕 방제

백강잠(누에가 죽어 굳은 것)

Batryticatus Bombyx

1 治小兒客忤, 及臍風撮口口噤. 取二枚爲末, 蜜和付脣內, 卽差. 《本草》

소아가 객오나 제풍으로 입을 오므리고 벌리지 못하는 것을 치료한다. 백강잠 2개를 가루내어 꿀에 개어 입술 안에 바르면 낫는다. 《본초》

It treats an inability to open one's mouth due to infantile convulsive seizures due to fright or various wind syndromes. Grind two Batryticatus Bombyx (白殭蚕) and mix these with honey. Apply it on the lips. It will be cured soon. 《本草》

1.90.28 蝸牛 방제

와우(달팽이)

Eukota

1 入嬰兒驚風藥最勝. 細硏, 入藥和用. 《本草》

갓난이의 경풍에 쓰는 약 중에 가장 좋다. 곱게 갈아서 약에 넣어 쓴다. 《본초》

It is the best medicine for infantile convulsions. Grind it finely and add it to medicine. 《本草》

1.90.29 蟾蜍 방제

섬여(두꺼비)

Bufo

1 治小兒疳殺蟲. 燒爲灰, 和米飮服.

소아의 감병을 치료하고 기생충을 죽인다. 두꺼비 태운 재를 미음에 타 먹인다.

It treats infantile malnutrition and kills parasites. Burn it and mix the ash with gruel and make the child take it.

2 疳瘡臍瘡口瘡, 燒爲末, 付之. 《本草》

감창이나 배꼽ㆍ입이 허는 데는 두꺼비 태운 가루를 바른다. 《본초》

When there are sores due to malnutrition on the navel or mouth, apply the ash. 《本草》

1.90.30 牡鼠肉 방제

모서육(숫쥐의 고기)

Ratti Mas Caro

1 主小兒疳丁奚哺露. 以黃泥裹燒, 去骨取肉, 和五味, 作羹與食之. 勿食骨, 甚瘦人. 《本草》

소아의 정해감과 포로감에 주로 쓴다. 황토 진흙으로 감싸서 구운 뒤, 뼈는 발라내고 살만 양념하여 국을 끓여 먹인다. 뼈를 먹으면 사람이 심하게 마르니 먹지 말아야 한다. 《본초》

Mostly used for infantile malnutrition due to excessive feeding or severe infantile malnutrition due to excessive feeding. Cover it with wet red clay and roast. Remove the bones, season the flesh, and make soup. Make the child take it. If a bone is taken, the patient will become slimmer, so it should not be taken. 《本草》

1.90.31 雄鼠糞 방제

웅서분(숫쥐의 똥)

Ratti Mas Excrementum

1 治小兒齒不生. 取三七粒, 每日用一粒, 揩齒齦上, 二十一日齒當出. 其兩頭尖者, 是雄糞也. 《本草》

소아의 치아가 나오지 않는 것을 치료한다. 21개를 구하여 매일 1개로 잇몸을 문지르면 21일만에 이가 나온다. 양쪽 끝이 뾰족한 것이 숫쥐의 똥이다. 《본초》

It treats a condition when the teeth of a child do not come out. Collect twenty one of these and apply one on the gums every day for twenty one days. The tooth will come out. Ones with sharp ends are the feces of a male mouse. 《本草》

1.90.32 小鰕 방제

소하(도랑 속에 사는 작은 새우)

Macrobrachii Corpus

1 小兒赤白遊疹, 丹毒, 取溝渠中小鰕, 生搗碎付之. 《本草》

소아의 적백유진과 단독에는 도랑 속의 작은 새우를 잡아 생으로 찧어 바른다. 《본초》

Pound and apply it for child's red and white urticaria and erysipelas. 《本草》

1.90.33 蛇蛻 방제
